Read about our livestock, share it, quote it. Please do not scrape our grazing records wholesale, break them, or spoil them for other readers following the herd.
Everything here is written from experience on the land, and pasture conditions change with each season — the Mooing of cattle across the grazingland shifts from dawn to dusk. Nothing here is advice for your own route: each rancher stays responsible for decisions about their own herd.
Short quotes about the herd with a link back are always fine. For anything longer, ask first.
If you send a message, a photo of your oxen or a correction about the herd, you allow us to reply and, where relevant, to publish the correction.
We sometimes link out to other ranches and farms. Those pages are not ours and we cannot answer for what happens there.
