Hooves and Hay

Last updated: March 2026

This page explains what we collect from visitors to the ranch, why we collect it, and how you can ask to have it removed. We keep as little on file as we can, much the way we keep a lean, well-managed herd of oxen rather than more than the land can hold.

We use a handful of cookies to remember how you like to browse the ranch site, keep track of your preferences, and count visits to our pasture reports and herd stories. You're free to clear or block these cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will still work just fine.

Ranches

We do not sell your details and we never pass them along to advertisers chasing clicks. A short, trusted list of providers helps us handle email delivery and website hosting for the ranch. Nothing more than that leaves the farm, and we review that list every year to keep it as short as possible.

Oxen in Fields

Health records for our bovine herd sit on protected systems behind the barn gate, and access is limited to the few ranch hands who run things day to day — as secure as a muscular bull penned safely in the barn.

Mooing Through Meadows

If anything changes on the ranch, we will update this page and move the date at the top.
